Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to Labzz. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Labzz platform (the “Platform”), owned and operated by Labzz SAS, a French company headquartered in Paris, France (“Labzz,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Description of the Platform

Labzz is a digital platform designed to facilitate collaboration between licensed dentists, dental laboratories, and other authorized dental professionals. We enable seamless outsourcing of dental lab services, centralized communication, digital model sharing, and streamlined order management. The Platform serves as a digital marketplace and communication tool, not as a manufacturer or provider of dental goods.

2. User Categories and Responsibilities

​

There are three types of users on Labzz:

  • Dentists/Clinics: May search, contact, and place orders with dental labs.

  • Dental Laboratories: May accept, fulfill, and track orders.

3. Account Registration & Verification

​

To use the Platform, you must complete a registration form. Upon approval, Labzz will create an account on your behalf.

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

  • You agree to keep your credentials confidential.

  • We reserve the right to verify submitted documents and reject or terminate accounts that are fraudulent, incomplete, or non-compliant.

4. Platform Usage Guidelines

​

You agree to use Labzz in a lawful and ethical manner. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating fake or misleading profiles.

  • Circumventing the Platform for direct transactions.

  • Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or abusive conduct.

  • Uploading harmful files or viruses.

  • Using the Platform for unlawful or unauthorized services.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without prior notice.

5. Orders and Transactions

​

All orders placed through Labzz are binding contracts between the ordering party and the selected laboratory.

  • Labzz acts solely as an intermediary.

  • Orders must be fulfilled to the standards described at the time of the transaction.

  • Any disputes must be communicated promptly through the Platform.

  • ​

6. Payment Terms

​

Labzz offers a secure integrated payment system. Currently, no transaction fees are charged. However:

  • Labzz may introduce a commission of 18% per order in the future.

  • Premium subscription options and advertising services will also be available.

  • Users will be notified in advance of any changes to fee structures.

All payments must be made via the Platform unless explicitly authorized.

7. Intellectual Property

​

All content on Labzz (including but not limited to the logo, platform design, UX, copy, graphics, software, and documentation) is the exclusive property of Labzz and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

​

Users may post ratings, reviews, files (e.g., STL, 3D models), or comments. You retain ownership of your content, but by uploading it to the Platform, you grant Labzz a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote that content for operational and promotional purposes.

Labzz reserves the right to remove any content that:

  • Is offensive, defamatory, or misleading

  • Violates intellectual property rights

  • Breaches these Terms or applicable law

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Labzz collects and processes user data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Data collected: identity, contact info, professional credentials, transaction details.

  • Purpose: user verification, account management, analytics, communication.

  • Storage: secure CMS system hosted in the EU.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability

​

While we strive for 24/7 uptime, Labzz makes no guarantee of uninterrupted access.

  • Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary outages.

  • Labzz is not liable for damages caused by service downtime, data loss, or unauthorized access.​

11. Liability & Disclaimers

​

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Labzz is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by third-party labs.

  • We provide the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • You use the Platform at your own risk.

Labzz disclaims any liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use.

12. Modifications to Terms

​

Labzz reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform, and continued use after updates implies acceptance.

We recommend you review these Terms periodically.

13. Termination

​

Labzz may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms

  • You engage in fraudulent or harmful conduct

  • We are required to do so by law

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

16. Compliance with Medical Device Regulations

​

Labzz acts solely as a digital intermediary between dentists and dental laboratories. We are not a manufacturer or distributor of dental prosthetics or medical devices, and we do not verify the regulatory compliance of individual orders.

It is the sole responsibility of the dentist or dental professional placing an order to ensure that the products sourced via the Platform meet the applicable regulatory standards in their country or jurisdiction, including but not limited to:

  • CE marking and MDR compliance (Europe)

  • FDA registration and labeling requirements (USA)

  • Other national health authority regulations (e.g., Canada, UK, Australia)

Similarly, each dental laboratory using the Platform is responsible for ensuring that:

  • Their products comply with the relevant medical device regulations of the markets they sell to.

  • They can provide appropriate technical documentation, declarations of conformity, and certificates of origin upon request.

  • They maintain traceability records in accordance with applicable law.

Labzz does not validate or certify the compliance status of any laboratory or product listed on the Platform.

17. Disclaimer of Liability

​

Labzz does not manufacture, inspect, or verify the quality, safety, legality, or regulatory compliance of the dental devices produced or exchanged through the Platform.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Labzz is not liable for any regulatory non-compliance, clinical outcomes, or patient harm resulting from the use of products ordered through the Platform.

  • The dentist bears full responsibility for evaluating the suitability and compliance of any medical device used on a patient.

  • Labzz disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
